The Philips feedback survey tools are Philips tools, but to ensure complete confidentiality and integrity in the process, the system is managed by an external provider called BeTalent by Zircon (Zircon Talent Ltd.). All feedback is treated in the strictest confidence. Feedback from direct reports or colleagues is reported in groups of three or more to protect anonymity. You can only be identified on the individual’s final Philips 360 report if you are nominated as their line manager or secondary manager.

The first step is to align with your line manager and HR partner to decide if it is the appropriate tool for your development need. The next step is to navigate to the Philips 360 tool via the HR portal (search for ‘complementary feedback surveys’) and sign up for the feedback survey applicable to you – the Philips Individual 360 for individual contributors and the Philips Leader 360 for people leaders. There is also the option for people managers to complete the Philips Leader 180. After completing payment, you will receive communication from philips360@betalent.com to start your survey.

You are the only one who receives your Philips feedback survey report. No other individuals will receive the report, however BeTalent by Zircon will have access to view the report for administrative purposes. You are however strongly recommended to discuss the feedback with your manager or coach to gain maximum value from the report.

With Philips feedback surveys, the focus is on you and your development. Your 360/180 means you get honest feedback from the key people around you – your (external) customers, your manager(s), your peers, and - if applicable – your direct reports. The feedback offers you diverse and honest observations from the people who know you best and see you in action, which is very valuable for exploring the strengths and development areas emerging from the feedback.

The survey takes around 10-15 minutes to complete depending on the level of detail/qualitative feedback you provide. Please note that any detailed qualitative input you provide will highly enrich the individual’s feedback.

You can select an option called ‘not applicable (N/A)’. This can be used if you have not observed any evidence to support the question.

It’s best to complete and submit your feedback in one session, but at any point you can save your feedback and return to the survey later. Your responses will be saved.

Feedback is valuable for your colleague – please try to make time available, it should take no more than 10-15 minutes. If this is not possible, please inform your colleague. You can also decline the feedback request via the system tool.

HR

HR’s role is to deliver excellent 360/180 practices across Philips. Here is an overview of roles & responsibilities for People Partners & People Business Partners – the ‘face’ of 360 towards our People Function clients:

  • Inform leaders and their teams how they benefit from it and being available to advise participants and raters.
  • Decide when 360/180 is appropriate for your groups.
  • Inform leaders and their teams about 360/180 and how they can benefit from the feedback.
  • Provide advice to participants and raters on how to use the tool effectively.

Once the minimum number of responses has been received (self-evaluation and direct manager evaluation) and the deadline has passed, only the employee will receive their 360/180 report. No other individuals will receive the 360/180 report, however BeTalent by Zircon will have access to view the report for administrative purposes.

Yes. For group initiatives with a minimum of 8 respondents, there is a group report available via PPS. The data in the group report is aggregated. However, the report does enlist who has participated in the 360.
